Latisha is a Science and Special Education Teacher at Anacostia Senior High School in Southeast Washington, DC.  She graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Psychology and Honors in Education.  Latisha went on to receive a Masters in Social Welfare (MSW) from University of California, Berkeley in 2011.  Latisha has always worked with adolescents at high risk for not graduating high school including: teen parents; those in the juvenile justice and/or foster care systems; and teens who are academically, economically and socially disenfranchised.  She is excited about helping give youth the access to social capital that will assist them in becoming joyful and successful adults.
